It’s always interesting to observe how some of the worlds most beautiful women have their makeup done. In the case of Angelina, long considered stunning, the red carpet is the time to showcase the best looking version of herself. The makeup is employed to even out, give dimension, bring to your attention certain features, balance out other features and invisibly disguise certain aspects. The overall effect is stunning and allows the ‘woman’ to come forward, not the other way around! That is to say, she is completely recognisable, but now has the ‘wow’ factor added in! Obviously this is much easier on a face that is universally considered the ideal of beauty (however in the wrong hands this can still be a disaster!). In the ‘not Hollywood’ world - the ability to make ordinary look extraordinary, in a way that someone who knows you very well, and can’t really ‘see’ HOW this was achieved is the mark of a true makeup ARTIST! - also a really powerful little talent to have (not to mention extremely rewarding 🙏).
