As a working makeup artist, I am always striving to be the best I can, both for my clients and my students. A part of my ongoing growth is looking to the best of the best for ques as to what is on trend, how they execute stunning makeup application, combinations of colours they use and of course, ideas and inspiration.

One of my long time, all time favourite makeup artists to look to is Italian born Francesca Tolot. Francesca’s work has been described by Beyoncé as the “most extraordinary makeup artist of our time”. I completely agree.

The ability to transform a face, achieving such beauty and magical-ness (if there is such a word!) is what Francesca does every time she works. Here are examples of her work:
