How an Icon does Winged Eyeliner

Love the close up detail of seeing how an icon does her winged eyeliner! In this case – Italian actress Sophia Loren

Notice the little ‘dog leg’ at the outer edge to compensate for the skin fold.

This makes sure when she’s looking directly ahead, her eyeliner is straight! (Also helps hide the skin fold itself ).

I use this trick whenever I’m doing makeup for a client who doesn’t have the perfect almond shaped eye, or has skin folds I need to hide!
