Demand for Makeup Artist who can apply ‘NATURAL’ MAKEUP

So lucky – I did Anna’s wedding just two weeks before the shutdown! Little did we know what lay over the horizon.

Not everyone wants heavy, or much more makeup on their wedding day than they would normally wear. Anna originally had trouble finding a makeup artist that could do a natural, best version of her vision of herself (I’ve heard this quite a bit recently from other new clients!).

Her Mum was also wary of looking ‘ridiculous’ – she never wears makeup – so rewarding to hear her say how happy she was when I’d finished.

This is one of my favourite looks, whilst it’s fun to do super glam, to be able to individually tailor makeup to each client, rather than stencilling pretty much the same look on everyone; to have the skills to get inside someone’s head and bring their perception, their vision, and what makes them personally feel their most beautiful into the final makeup look is something I love doing!
