Camouflage Makeup

Makeup isn’t always about the face or confined to the face. One of the magical things is the ability to hide imperfections just about anywhere on the body.

This is one of my favourite parts to my business – the ability to increase a clients self confidence by effectively camouflaging an area that they are self conscious about.

The hardest part to this is actually getting the colour match to the surrounding skin correct, once this is done, the rest is easy. Application is simple and depending on whereabouts on the body the problem area is, will last up to 24 hours (sometimes longer) without needing to be touched up. A special fixative powder and spray are the used to seal the makeup and render it water resistant.

The product itself is so high in pigment (3 – 4 times pigment content compared to conventional makeup) that it adheres to skin very well and a little goes a long way.

To see clients get back into their social life and feel free to wear clothes they love, knowing that the problem area is effectively hidden is such a rewarding experience for me as a makeup artist.
